A noun ending sentence such as "犬は動物だ" requires “dakara” and an adjective or verb ending sentence requires “kara” to be conjoined. Please remember that the following sentences are incorrect:
「ひろ子はやさしいだから、みんなに愛される。」 (Incorrect)
「けい子はよく怒るだから、みんなに敬遠される。」 (Incorrect)
This rule is also adopted to the connecting particle “node”. “Node” is compatible with “kara” and “nanode” is compatible with “dakara”.
